FAQ

USA Swimming Parent Tip of the Month   -

"...Here's what I suggest we do: let's give it back to the kids - a gift from the heart, with no obligation.  They don't have to be great at it.  They don't have to give us parents and coaches something to brag about.  They don't have to take on the burden of our own dreams and hopes.  They don't have to earn a college scholarship.  They don't have to go pro.  All they have to do is enjoy it.  I say 'Let 'em play'."  Dr. Jack Llewellyn - author of Let 'em Play

Be sure to watch Olympic Trials this week.  Sean Ryan will swim the 1500 Meter Free on Saturday.

Sean set new 400 Meter Free Team Record at Time Trial at Olympic Trials with a time of 4:00.55.

Bull Frog Meet Results - June 27-29

Mary Beth Pike and Mimi Doi make nine 11-12 girls qualified for Southeasterns (possibly a team record!) - we have the opportunity to swim 2 relays at the Championship meet - adding finals swims for the team!  Please let me know if you are going to the meet and will be willing to swim at finals on a relay.  Austin Miller, April Forsthoffer, Haley Rae Tillman, Ryan Forsthoffer, Jacob Best, Mary Grace Arnold, and Sarabeth King each added another qualifying time.  McCay Mathis made her 400 free qualifying time (joining a group of swimmers with every qualifying time).  Cayce Grall swam to 4 new Southeastern times (despite the coaches messing up her entry times).  Brianne Holsomback, Kristen Myers, Haley Bates,  Christine Anderson, Sean Ryan, Andrew Tallent, Emily Arnold, Cayce Grall, Sadie Lett, McCay Mathis place in the top 8 in several events.  Scenic City 11-12 Girls won both relays with very strong swims.  Most importantly we had a good time being together and enjoyed the opportunity to compete!
